A statement of freedom and expression as Egypt looks forward. Cairo-based sandal company Zee asked SBC to revision their popular brand of comfortable, statement-making footwear.

The visual identity reflects a free-spirited lifestyle that comes with exploring new destinations and terrain. Handmade elements draw from Egypt’s tradition of craftsmanship.

We began by exploring what it’s like to be an Egyptian in today’s connected world. With porous cultural boundaries, young Egyptians are inspired by international fashion, music, and culture, and have a strong desire to share their own identity with the global community.

Part of the identity are “Brand Incantations,” rhythmic mantras that call in the voice of Zee and a lifestyle of celebration.
