Revisioning an iconic New York fashion brand. Inspired by Frida Kahlo, mysticism, and 90’s heartbreak, Susan is a champion for freedom of expression, and we love that about her.
As the brand matured since its founding, we set out to create a new identity that had more elegance, refinement, and flexibility. The new identity needed to live confidently alongside legendary fashion houses around the world.
In designing the mark, we sampled Susan’s own handwriting as a base for the unique letterforms.
The mark is at once a nod to the traditions of handmade fashion, with a playfulness and freedom that is unmistakably Susan Alexandra.
The new websites is a highly shoppable destination where her fans can immerse themselves in her world.
We created playful collections
as entry points into the expansive product line - inspired by flora, fauna and funkyness.
The homepage features flexible “art carousels” that pair product with photoshoots, which are refreshed ongoing to highlight new products and looks.
